Under-Height But Qualified Policemen Needed

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Alan LM Purisima has expressed his full support to the resolution of the National Police Commission (Napolcom) waiving age, height or weight limits for applicants in the police force. They may be short in height but they can be of service to the country. Purisima added that said new rule would fill the recruitment quota needed to replace police officers who will retire at the age of 56 and to those who resigned or are dismissed from the service due to various reasons and other infractions.
